Toryglen Football Centre was the venue for the South West League Cup Finals. The South West teamed up with the West and Centals regions to host six finals throughout the day.

It was a great day for girls' football, with a great atmosphere - even the famous vuvuzelas were on show.

Hamilton Whites were up against Kilwinning Sports Club in the U13s League Cup Final. The game was evenly balanced at 2-2 with ten minutes to play. It looked as if extra time and penalties would be required, before a late flurry of Kilwinning goals clinched a 9–2 victory.

Erin Cuthbert of Kilwinning won player of the match, scoring four goals for her team. Erin is pictured to the right being presented with her trophy by Scotland Women International Suzanne Grant.

Ayr United and Kilbirnie CFC were paired together for the Plate Cup Final.  Ayr United ran out comfortable 9 -0 winners in the end. Although the scoreline may suggest otherwise, there was plenty of end to end action and chances for both sides.

A massive thanks must go to Suzanne Grant for carrying out the presentations throughout the day.

Congratulations to all the girls involved, the games were all played in an excellent spirit with some superb football over the day.
