Following the Winter break the Moray Council Street football pitch will roll back out on Monday 17th January. The aim of the pitch is to give youths aged between 8 – 17 years activity in the evenings and aims to reduce anti social behaviour. Scottish FA Street Football is run in partnership with local authorities and is funded by CashBack for Communities.
The Moray council pitch is supported by Grampian Police, Grampian Fire brigade, anti social behaviour group and Moray leader. The pitch is also set up and delivered by a group of volunteers.
Venues and details below
- Monday 17th January, Hythehill Primary 3:30 – 5:30, runs until 28th March
- Wednesday 19th January, Doocot Park New Elgin 6:00 – 8:00, runs until 30th March
- Friday 21st January, Forres Fire Station 6:30 – 8:30, runs until 25th March.
