UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 Qualifier
Scotland v Slovenia
Friday 8th April 2015, kick-off 7.45pm
Paisley 2021 Stadium
Scotland face Slovenia on Friday night hoping to continue their 100% record in UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 qualifying.
Jane Ross will meet up with the squad tonight on the back of a terrific opening few weeks at Manchester City. The Bute-born striker was on target yesterday as City progressed to the semi-finals of the Women’s FA Cup, defeating Sporting Club Albion 2-0. It was Ross’ second goal in as many games for her new team after scoring the first in City’s 2-0 victory over Arsenal on Easter Monday.
Elsewhere, Scotland teammates Emma Mitchell and Leanne Crichton faced each other in the FA Women’s Cup for Arsenal and Notts County respectively. Mitchell’s team came out on top, winning 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time.
In WSL2, Chloe Arthur’s Bristol City were held to a goalless draw against Sheffield FC, while over in America Kim Little and Rachel Corsie both featured in Seattle Rein’s pre-season victory over Oregon State University.
