Tullibody Community Football Club is now recruiting for additional volunteers to help with coaching and other important roles at the club.
The club has recently been awarded the Development level of the Scottish FA Quality Mark, which means that the club has demonstrated a commitment to creating a pathway for players to progress through the club. The club has teams at six different age groups - under 10,11 and 12s for boys, under 11,13 and 17s for girls plus an amateur team. The under 10’s age group has been lucky enough to attract a local company as a sponsor, with R M Donaldson’s providing new strips for both of the under 10s teams.
The club is also participating in the Scottish FA's Tesco Bank Football Challenge and McDonalds programmes, where young players at both primary and secondary school have an opportunity to train or play. The club is also hoping to establish fun fours for the very youngest players from March 2011 in the FVFDA.
Tullibody Community Club has also recently finished renovating an old bowling green to give the club its own training facility and the club have been awarded over £1000 from Sportsmatch which will go towards furnishing the park with both full size and portable goals.
If you are interested in helping, or would like your kids to participate in fun football sessions in a safe environment, then please get in touch with the club via the website www.tullibodycommunityfc.com
