On Sunday 20th September the U11 girls teams came to the fore at an U11s Festival held at Our Lady and St Patricks High School, Dumbarton.

Falkirk Ladies, Milton Rovers, Glasgow Girls and Drumchapel Amateurs came together to play each other in a round robin, with no scores recorded, just lots of goals.

With the change to the summer season, clubs had asked for some provision for the U11s to ensure that there would always be a steady flow of girls coming into the league sides and a monthly festival seemed to be the way forward.

This is the second seven a side festival that has been held in Central Region, with monthly four a side meetings before the summer to get as many girls as possible playing the game.

The tournaments have been a great success so far and the last one of the season will take place at St Andrews High School, Coatbridge on the 25th October.
