The U15 Central Region Squad was represented by its largest ever contingent in an International squad when Scotland took on Wales at Toryglen last night.

Nine players from the squad were selected with 6 starting the game at the first ever Scotland International to take place indoors.

Megan Cunningham (Celtic FC) started in goals, with Mary Clare Steele (Motherwell FC), Corri Cairns and Nicole McPhee (both Falkirk Ladies) in the defence in front of her.  The six were completed by Rachel Halliday (Celtic FC) and Fiona Brown (Stenhousemuir FC), who was making her international debut after only being selected for the Regional squad in August.

Carolina Richardson (Motherwell FC), Cara Wilkie and Leigh Nicol (both Celtic FC) featured in the second half, indeed Carolina rounded off the night with Scotland's third goal, as Scotland won 3-0.
