We can now confirm that the evening UEFA B Licence course, specifically for coaches at clubs, is now open for applications.
Prerequisites for this are as follows:
- Must have your own team to work with at minimum U15 level
- Must have half a pitch available for evening sessions
- Qualified to Goalkeeping Basic Licence, Youth Awatd or C Licence Level (4 years Professional Playing Experience is acceptable) Club Coach Certificates will no longer be accepted.
The course is run from February to November with the majority of course taking part in the evening. The group will meet at various locations on the following dates:
Sunday 14 February 2016 10.00-16.00 Toryglen, Glasgow
Sunday 24 April 2016 10.00 - 14.30 Spartans, Edinburgh
Sat 11 or Sun 12 June 2016 10.00 - 16.00 St Andrew University, Fife
Tuesday 21 June 18.30 -21.30 Spartans, Edinburgh
Tuesday 5 July 2016 18.30 - 21.30 St Johnstone FC, Perth
We understand this may result in a lot of travel for some candidates however attendance on these dates is compulsory.
There will be a minimum of 16 visits to clubs for practical sessions with assignments and sessions plans required throughout to make the 120 hour B Licence requirement.
