Scotland’s bid to reach the UEFA European Under-17 Championships for a second successive season got off to a perfect start this afternoon, as Scot Gemmill’s side recorded a 2-0 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina in Tatabanya, Hungary.


Second-half goals from Lewis Morrison and Daniel Harvie secured the three points for Scotland, in a repeat of last year’s score-line when the two nations met at this stage in the qualifiers in Kilmarnock.

Gemmill’s side now face the hosts of the round, Hungary, on Sunday, with the match kicking-off at 3pm GMT.
