UEFA Under-21 EURO 2017 Qualifier
Scotland vs Ukraine
Friday 13th November 2015, 5:45pm kick-off
St Mirren Park, Paisley
Hibernian & Scotland Under-21 midfielder Liam Henderson hopes to carry his club form onto the international stage ahead of Friday’s UEFA Under-21 EURO 2017 Qualifier against Ukraine.
Henderson, who is on-loan from Celtic, has played 15 times for the Easter Road side this season and is joined in the Under-21s by club teammates Jason Cummings and John McGinn.
With no defeats in his last 13 games, Henderson is eager to keep a positive run of form going with victory on Friday:
“It shows we’ve been doing well for Hibs. I get along really well with Jason and John, who’ve been playing magnificently this season. We just need to carry that into the international team”
“Ukraine are a pretty physical team. Very big and strong but they can play as well. But I imagine Ricky will have a gameplan and we can stick to that and get the win.”
Tickets for Scotland's clash with Ukraine on Friday, 13th November can be ordered by calling the St Mirren Ticket Office on 0141 840 6130 or by visiting the office in person. Opening hours are Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm. Full details here.
