Yesterday Glasgow’s UEFA EURO 2020 logo was launched with Scotland’s Ambassador Sir Alex Ferguson in attendance.

The legendary manager spoke exclusively to the Scottish FA about the successful bid and told of how highly he regards the city of Glasgow.

He said: “Glasgow is a warm city and I spoke to Usain Bolt about coming here (ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games). He asked me ‘what kind of city is Glasgow’, and I told him ‘it’ll be the best city you’ll have ever go to.’

“The Scottish FA have worked hard to become a host city and Glasgow has hosted many great finals. We’ve never let the public down.”
