Scottish FA Ties Up adidas Kit Deal

The Scottish FA and adidas today confirmed the sportswear giant as the new official kit supplier to the Scotland National Team, supplying all match apparel and producing all replica kit, training and leisurewear.
 
The deal will run from January 2010 to June 2014 and the new kit will be worn for the first time at Scotland's friendly against the Czech Republic in March.
 
Speaking about the deal, Scottish FA Chief Executive Gordon Smith said:
 
"This is a great deal for the Scottish FA and a huge show of faith in Scotland by one of the largest and most prestigious sports brands in the world.  Being associated with adidas will lift the profile of our National teams and will ensure that our supporters around the world have access to the very best merchandise and replica kits."
 
It is anticipated that the adidas Scotland apparel range will be available for supporters to purchase from around late Spring 2010.
