The Young Team guaranteed their spot in the next round with a third-place finish in Group A7 and rounded off the campaign with 3-0 win against hosts Hungary. First-half goals from Laura Berry and Eloise Morran sent the Scots in at half-time two goals to the good, Berry grabbed her brace on 78 minutes to complete the game and the group.
Scotland secured promotion back to ‘League A’ earlier this year in style, defeating Liechtenstein, Cyprus and Albania without conceding a goal.
The draw for the next round of qualifiers will take place on Friday, December 6 and will set the remaining fixtures for both leagues.
The groups played between either 17 and 26 February or 31 March and 8 April will decide the seven teams who join hosts Poland in the finals from 15 to 27 June 2025, as well as promotion and relegation between the leagues.
