Scotland Women’s Under-17s have given themselves a chance of securing a place at the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship in May in Czech Republic.

Across in Serbia for the Elite Round, they finished the three games undefeated with two draws and a victory.

First up Pauline Hamill’s side took on Hungary and went behind after six minutes but Scotland weren’t slow in responding and scored just three minutes later through Morgan Cross with the match finishing 1-1.

Two days later they drew 0-0 against the group winners Republic of Ireland.

On Saturday (18 March) they defeated Serbia 2-1. They were 1-0 behind after just 9 minutes but goals from Michaela McAlonie and substitute Lauren Davidson secured the win.

The result leaves Scotland second in the table and with five other groups still to complete their matches, the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their section will progress to the finals.
