Players from special educational needs schools in East and West Dunbartonshire enjoyed a trip to Hampden Park and Toryglen Regional Football Centre last week.

The young players are part of the Young People’s Fund programme, which provides fortnightly coaching sessions with Scottish FA coaches, plus day trips and outings.

After a stadium tour and visit to the Scottish Football Museum at Hampden Park, the pupils from Merkland (East Dunbartonshire) and Kilpatrick (West Dunbartonshire) headed over to Toryglen for a football festival, where they were joined by pupils from Abercorn and Parkhill secondary schools in Glasgow.
