Warriors in the Community staff and Young Warriors visited the CHAS hospice in Kinross on Sunday 22nd January 2012. This was the third annual visit to Rachel’s House after another successful collection over Christmas.

This year the collection total was £300 and around £150 presents, an increase on what was an impressive total from last year.

Each year Young Warriors donate presents and cash over the festive period to the benefit of the young people in the hospice. The hospice in Kinross helps around 130 families each year, with a team of 40 staff and many volunteers

Head of Sport Jamie Swinney and Head of Community Football Martyn Buckie were joined by Young Warriors- Nathan Gardiner, Logan Kirkbride, Conner Kirkbride, Matthew Lipsett and Billy Gardinder to present the donation to staff and families at the hospice.

Warriors in the Community and Stenhousemuir Football Club would like to thank all the parents, supporters and players who contributed to the cause.

The collection will run again in December 2012.
