Hampden Park
Hampden Park is the national football stadium of Scotland, home to Scotland international matches since 1906.
Located in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow, the stadium has a capacity of 51,866. In addition to hosting Scottish Cup finals and, more recently, semi-finals, it is also the home of amateur team Queen’s Park FC.
The stadium was the largest venue in the world when it was opened in 1903 with a capacity of more than 100,000, which was further extended in 1927 and 1937 to a peak of 150,000. It holds the European record for an international football match attendance of 149,145 for a Scotland v England match in 1937.

In addition to Scotland international and domestic cup fixtures, the famous stadium has hosted some classic continental fixtures down the years. It was the venue for arguably the greatest European cup final of all time, Real Madrid beating Eintracht Frankfurt 7-3 in front of more than 127,000 spectators, and arguably one of the greatest Champions League final goals of all time when Zinedine Zidane scored a sumptuous left-footed volley to secure a 2-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
In 2021 Hampden Park also played host to four matches during UEFA EURO 2020, the tournament which saw the Scotland men's team end their 23 year exodus from major finals. That summer cemented the stadium's place as one of Europe's most iconic footballing venues.
