A Disciplinary Tribunal convened today in accordance with the Judicial Panel Protocol to consider the following case:
Alleged Party in Breach: Mark McGhee (Manager, Motherwell FC)
Match: Dundee vs. Motherwell (SPFL Premiership) - Sunday 5th November 2016
Disciplinary Rule allegedly breached:
In that at the conclusion of the above match you did commit misconduct, and that:
i) You adopted aggressive behaviour towards a match official; and/or
ii) You adopted aggressive behaviour towards a steward; and/or
iii) You used offensive, abusing, and/or insulting language towards a steward; and/or
iv) You used offensive, abusing, and/or insulting language towards a match official.
That accordingly you committed misconduct and breached Disciplinary Rule 203 of the Scottish FA’s Disciplinary Rules.
Outcome: Breach amended to remove points (i) and (ii) from original charge. Amended breach admitted.
Sanction: Three-match suspension (two matches to be served immediately; one match to take effect in the event of further breach of disciplinary rule 203, suspended until end of season 2016/17).
