This weekend sees 16 teams meet as the Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup reaches the fifth round.
With the 16 teams remaining, we still have a spread of teams from across the leagues in Scotland as we have 8 Premiership, 4 Championship, 2 League One and 2 League Two sides remaining in the competition.
The fifth round has thrown up some fantastic derbies as teams face off for a spot in the Quarter Finals and a chance to lift the most storied trophy in world football.
We kick off in Airdrie with Friday Night Football, live on BBC Scotland at 7:45pm, at the Albert Bartlett stadium as the Diamonds face St. Mirren in the Scottish Cup for the first time since the 2003/04 season, when the Buddies ran out 2-0 at Love Street in a third round tie. St. Mirren will fancy their chances in the tie, with their last defeat away from home against lower league opposition coming against Gretna at Raydale Park back in 2006.
Saturday sees the first of two derbies in the fifth round, as Kelty Hearts travel to East End Park to face Dunfermline Athletic in an all-Fife meeting. This will be the first ever Scottish Cup meeting between the two sides, but the Pars are undefeated against the visitors in competitive matches, with three wins and two draws across their five meetings.
Saturday also sees Dundee looking to beat top-flight opposition in back-to-back rounds for the first time since 2002/03, when they beat Partick Thistle and Aberdeen on their way to the Final, as they travel to Glasgow to face Celtic. Live on Premier Sports at 5:30pm, the hosts have won each of their last 11 Scottish Cup ties against the Dee, a record stretching back to January 1947 when Dundee won 2-1 at Dens Park.
Sunday sees one of the biggest shocks from last season’s Scottish Cup replayed, as Rangers host Queen’s Park, live on Premier Sports. Last season saw Calum Ferrie’s heroics in goal, saving a last gasp penalty from James Tavernier after Seb Drozd had given the visitors the lead. Rangers will be out to avenge their first defeat in the Scottish Cup against Queen’s Park since 1882/83.
The Final tie of a busy Scottish Cup weekend is another derby as Falkirk make the short trip to Stenhousemuir on Sunday evening, live on BBC Scotland. The Warriors will be looking to repeat their shock victory from the 2018/19 season as they defeated the Bairns 4-2 at Ochilview in the third round, and reach the Quarter-Final of the competition for the first time since 1994/95.
Cup holders Aberdeen continue their defence of the trophy at home to high-flying Motherwell at Pittodrie. Aberdeen have never beaten Motherwell at Pittodrie in five previous meetings in the Scottish Cup, with three draws (including a 5-5 in February 1953!) and two losses.
Following a pitch inspection on Friday, this fixture has been postponed and will take place on Wednesday, 18 February at 7.45pm, live on Premier Sports.
The full list of fixtures is listed at the bottom of the page.
The Fourth Round in the women's competition will take place on February 16.
