Leigh Griffiths will start up front tonight in the crucial match at Hampden against Slovenia who lie four points ahead of Scotland in second place as World Cup qualification hots up.

Six Celtic players are involved in the starting line-up with Kieran Tierney at right back, while Hull City’s Andy Robertson will be on the left side of defence.

Russell Martin is back in the heart of the back line and will join Charlie Mulgrew who retains his place from Canada.

Scott Brown will captain the team and assisting him in the midfield will be James Morrison, James Forrest, Robert Snodgrass and debutant, Stuart Armstrong.

Leigh Griffiths will lead the line, aiming to score his first goal for Scotland.

Among the substitutes is Tom Cairney who will make his competitive debut off the bench if given the call.
