UEFA Nations League
Armenia v Scotland
Tuesday, 14 June 2022 – kick off 5pm (UK)
Republican Stadium, Yerevan

Scotland will look to end their packed June international calendar on a high as they travel to Armenia for their fourth match of the window.

Steve Clarke’s side will look to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointing result in Dublin straight away by getting a result over a side they dealt with comfortably at Hampden Park just last week.

Pre-match thoughts

Callum McGregor backed his Scotland teammates to bounce back from the result against Republic of Ireland on Saturday:

"It's about trying to learn from it, the small details. We have to stick together when we come under criticism. That's the time when you stand together as a group.

"Of course there is big pressure off the back of a disappointing performance. Everyone looks at the next one, asking 'right what are they going to do? Will they fold or come back strong?' We have to give a positive performance and find a positive result.

"We have to show everyone we are hurt by what happened at the weekend."

Previously

The match represents new ground for Scotland, who had never faced their opponents prior to their meeting at Hampden last week and have never played in Armenia before.

The two sides met in Scotland’s opening Nations League fixture at Hampden last Wednesday, Scotland running out comfortable winners thanks to goals from Anthony Ralston and Scott McKenna, each of which was their first goal for their country.

Both sides currently sit on three points in Group B1 of the Nations League, Scotland in third place ahead of Armenia on goal difference but with a game in hand on their hosts.

Where to Watch

The match will be shown on Premier Sports, with coverage starting at 4.15pm on Premier Sports 1. You can find more details on how to watch the match here.
