Scotland Women’s Under-23s will head to Kirkcaldy next month as they take on Sweden in their first fixture of the season.

The match marks the inaugural game for Michael McArdle’s side who will participate in an annual European friendly tournament with games across four matchdays within three windows ahead of finals next April.

The young team are placed in Group B along with Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and Belgium. Portugal, France, Germany, England and Norway will all compete in Group A.

Scotland will take on Sweden at the home of Raith Rovers on Thursday, 23 October before travelling to face Italy on Monday, 27 October.

Scotland will also travel to Belgium in November before hosting the Netherlands in February.

Admission to the match at Stark's Park will be free.
