The Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup continues this weekend with 26 Second Preliminary Round ties taking place across the country.

Four teams have already had to play a match to reach this stage, with Invergordon, Johnstone Burgh, Whitburn Juniors and Dundee North End all coming through Preliminary Round One ties.

The action gets underway on Friday evening, with an all-West of Scotland Premier Division clash as St Cadoc's - who are competing in the Scottish Cup for the first time - host Pollok. The Glasgow South Side outfit famously saw off Annan Athletic in a thriller three seasons ago before losing to Ayr United.

Also competing in their first Scottish Cup, having just gained their appropriate Scottish FA licence are Tweedmouth Rangers who host Lochee United at Shielfield Park, in one of 25 ties being played on Saturday, with Lochee looking to better the Second Round appearance which they made last time around.

Invergordon's first Scottish Cup journey continues at home to Dunipace, while the other debutants, Whitburn Juniors and Johnstone Burgh, play each other at Central Park.

Dundee North End enjoyed a fairytale run to the Third Round last season before eventually losing narrowly to Airdrieonians. After coming through a penalty shoot-out in the First Preliminary Round, they will play Whitehill Welfare on Saturday at North End Park.

Of the sides entering at this stage, it was Musselburgh Athletic who got the furthest last season as they reached the Fourth Round before eventually falling to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Hamilton.

Auchinleck Talbot, who have enjoyed strong cup runs before and reached the Second Round in 2024/2025, host Haddington Athletic at Beechwood Park on Saturday.

The other five sides who got as far as the Second Round last year are Bo'ness Athletic, Hill of Beath Hawthorn, Jeanfield Swifts, Sauchie Juniors and Threave Rovers, and they face Creetown, St Andrews United, Preston Athletic, Hutchison Vale and Hawick Royal Albert respectively.

The details of the ties and any potential postponements are listed below. As in the last few seasons, there are no replays, with matches decided after extra-time and penalties.

The Second Preliminary Round in the women's competition will take place next weekend.
