Four Scottish clubs found out their opponents in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League respectively today in Nyon.

Celtic's UEFA Champions League campaign kicks off in the second qualifying round, where they will face FC Stjarnan. The Icelandic side overcame Motherwell last season, while both teams were knocked out of Europe by Inter Milan in the 2014/15 season.

Aberdeen and St Johnstone enter the UEFA Europa League in the first qualifying round, where the Dons will face KF Shkëndija of FYR Macedonia, while the Saints face a trip to Armenia to play Alashkert FC.

Should both sides progress they will join Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the second qualifying round, who have been drawn against FC Astra. Astra will be familiar to some in Scotland, as Celtic faced the Romanian side in last season's Europa League group stage.

Crvena Zvezda of Serbia or Kazahk outfit Kairat Almaty await St Johnstone in the next round should they defeat Alashkert, while Aberdeen will face HNK Rijeka of Croatia if they win against Shkëndija.
