Our Congress members Supporters Direct Scotland are delighted to offer football supporters in Scotland the opportunity to attend the Supporters Summit on the 10th of January at Hampden Park.
The Summit presents an opportunity for fans to congress and discuss important issues relating to governance and ownership of football in Scotland.
This event will bring together supporters, academics and journalists to hear from the government, governing bodies and the organisations that are tasked with furthering supporters’ involvement within the game.
The event, during the Scottish Government’s consultation into supporters’ rights relating to ownership and involvement and on the back of the recommendations of the Morrow Report, represents an ideal time to discuss the work being done to improve the development of sustainable football clubs based on supporters involvement and community ownership.
Speaking at the event will be the Sports Minister, the Swansea City Supporters Trust, the Irish Supporters Network and the Football Supporters Federation. Training workshops, open to all, will be delivered by the Institute of Directors.
Tickets are available on a 'Pay What You Want' basis from www.scottishfans.org/summit.
