The Over-50's walking Active Stirling football programme kicked off on Wednesday 6 May at Forthbank Stadium with over 15 participants in attendance.
The programme began with a group warm up followed by some small sided games throughout the 60 mins session.
Scott Kinross, Scottish FA Football Development Officer said:
"It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves and for many it may have been the first they had kicked a ball in a long time. With an excellent turnout today we hope that attendance figures increase in the coming weeks.
Participant Arthur Duncan said:
"This was a great experience I never thought I would play football again at my age.
"I am really looking forward to next week's games. The Active Stirling coaches coordinating the programme were also very positive and enthusiastic.”
