Glasgow City came from behind twice to see off 2023 Scottish Cup champions Celtic in the Fourth Round of the Scottish Gas Women's Scottish Cup.

Celtic led twice after a Lucy Ashworth-Clifford long-range strike and a Claire Walsh own goal but City levelled on both occasions, first through a Brenna Lovera penalty and then through a Sam van Diemen header. And Lovera completed the comeback with a low finish to send the 9-times Scottish Cup winners through to the Quarter-Finals.

The upset of the day came at Gussie Park as SWPL2 side Boroughmuir Thistle defeated top flight Dundee United 3-1 after a Becky Galbraith double and a Cara Borthwick goal.

Elgin City were the lowest-ranked side left in the competition and the SWF North side gave St Johnstone a scare at the Riverside Stadium as they pegged Saints back to 1-1 going in to half-time. St Johnstone's class told eventually though, with Steffi Simson, Niamh Irvine, Leah Sidey and Olivia Hurrell on all target, as Mia Lungberg's double for Elgin coming in vain.

The other two SWF sides, Falkirk and Bonnyrigg Rose, had more challenging afternoons though, going down 9-0 and 6-0 to Hearts and Motherwell respectively. Jackie Richards, Bayley Hutchison and Sade Adamolekun also bagged braces for Hearts, while Amy Sharkey scored a hat-trick in Well's big win.

Holders Rangers also enjoyed a comfortable afternoon, winning 7-0 against Montrose, while Spartans put six past SPWL side Kilmarnock.

Aberdeen's match against Hamilton Academical looked a potential upset but the Dons had too much for the SWPL2 leaders, as Kerry Beattie, Francesca Ogilve and Eva Thomson saw them safely into the Quarter-Finals.
