William Hill Scottish Cup holders Inverness Caledonian Thistle secured their place in the quarter-finals of this season's competition with a late winner against Motherwell.
Jordan Roberts scored in the closing stages of the match to earn a 2-1 victory at Fir Park, as John Hughes' side became one of four teams to reach the final eight on Saturday.
In the day's other all-Premiership affair, Dundee United defeated Partick Thistle at Tannadice, while Ross County did enough against a brave Linlithgow Rose to win 4-2 in Dingwall.
Annan Athletic could not repeat their heroics from the previous round, as Greenock Morton eased past the League 2 team to win 4-1 at Galabank.
The two Championship sides ar home on Saturday, Rangers and Dumbarton, face replays against Kilmarnock and Dundee respectively following 0-0 draws in both games.
In Sunday's matches, Celtic defeated East Kilbride 2-0, while Hibernian recovered from 2-0 down to earn a replay against Edinburgh rival Hearts.
