Nine non-league sides have been dreaming of cup upsets this weekend as the Scottish Cup Third Round nears closer.

16 clubs from League One and the Championship have entered the third round draw joining teams who have been in it from the start and are hoping to progress further.

Hawick Royal Albert will make the 448 mile round trip to Elgin as both teams look to record their first win of November.

Spartans are flying high in the Lowland League at the moment, sitting in second place and come into their match against St.Mirren on the back of four wins from five games including a 9-1 victory over Hawick Royal Albert.

St Mirren will host the Edinburgh side and have lost their last five league matches but are through to the semi-finals of the IRN-BRU Cup.

At the top of the Lowland League are East Kilbride who have recently been in the media spotlight following a staggering winning run which saw them beat Ajax’s record by winning 27 games in-a-row. They will travel to Stranraer with confidence.

This season the Scottish FA are taking the William Hill Scottish Cup out to clubs around Scotland and will feature a particular game across their social media channels.

On Saturday the cup is heading north to Buckie for the visit of Championship side Dunfermline.

Buckie Thistle currently top the Highland League and will be looking to progress to the Fourth Round after being knocked out at this stage last year at the hands of Stranraer.

The furthest Buckie have gone is the Fifth Round, back in 2011.

We will have student blogger Ronnie Charters in Beith as they take on Morton for one of the ties of the round where he will analyse the day as a whole as well as the performances on the pitch.

The match in Beith will be one of two early kick-offs, starting at 1.30pm along with Bonnyrigg Rose who take on Dumbarton.
