The draw for the William Hill Scottish Cup Third Round took place at Hampden today with former Scotland manager Alex McLeish invited to help draw the teams.

McLeish won the cup twice as Rangers manager and five-times as a player at Aberdeen. His first cup final with the Dons took place 1982, a game in which the young centre-half scored a fine looping effort over the head of Rangers goalkeeper Jim Stewart.

Speaking after the draw, McLeish revealed that his famous cup final strike came straight off the training pitch:
