An eagerly-anticipated Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup Fifth Round weekend got underway on Friday evening as Ayr United hosted Hibs.
In a battle of two in-form sides, it proved a close contest and looked to be heading for extra-time until Hibs defender Rocky Bushiri headed home Kieron Bowie's flick-on to break the deadlock with minutes remaining.
Hibs keeper Jordan Smith still had to save twice from Marco Rus and Jamie Murphy as the Edinburgh side became the first team into the hat for the Quarter-Finals.
A late, late winner from a David Gray team in the Scottish Cup?

Dundee had endured a dismal week, slipping to consecutive 6-0 defeats at the hands of Hearts and Celtic, but the Scottish Cup brought them some respite as they enjoyed a big win of their own at home to the Championship's bottom side Airdrieonians.
The Dark Blues had already put six past Airdrie in the League Cup earlier in the season and they took an early lead through a Clark Robertson header. Kyle MacDonald's short back pass eventually presented Lyall Cameron with the easy task of doubling Dundee's lead and the returning midfielder then set up Oluwaseun Adewumi who drilled home to make it 3-0.
Another defensive disaster from the visitors then presented Cameron with a tap-in as Dundee made it 4-0 before the break and it would remain that score as the Dark Blues headed through.
There was another comfortable win in Livingston as David Martindale's side saw off a stubborn Cove Rangers. Ryan McGowan bundled the ball home from Reece McAlear's free-kick midway through the first half but Cove stayed in the game and could have equalised with ten minutes remaining as William Gillingham headed a glorious chance wide.
And the League One side were made to pay as Livi added gloss to the scoreline with Tete Yengi coming off the bench to score a late double as the match ended 3-0.
It was a much tighter game in Perth between St Johnstone and Hamilton and - like on Friday evening - extra-time seemed inevitable until substitute Graeme Carey's shot flicked off substitute Adama Sidibeh to give the Saints their fourth straight victory.
Celtic also saw off Championship opposition in the form of Raith Rovers, with Daizen Maeda netting a hat-trick. The Japanese forward had put Celtic in front within six minutes with a cool left-footed effort and - after having another goal chalked off for offside - he extended Celtic's lead in first half injury time.
Luke McCowan then poked home a third early in the second half to make the result save, before Yang Hyun-Jun steered in a fourth and Maeda completed his hat-trick in a comfortable Celtic win.
In Sunday's early kick off it was Aberdeen who progressed, seeing off a spirited Dunfermline Athletic 3-0 at Pittodrie. The Pars frustrated their hosts until just before the interval when Pape Gueye broke their resistance. Dunfermline improved going forward after the break and forced Ross Doohan into a couple of saves but goals from Alexander Jensen and Kevin Nisbet eventually saw them to a comfortable win.
It had been a weekend free of shocks but that all changed in the Sunday afternoon match at Ibrox, as Championship side Queen's Park stunned Rangers at Ibrox.
Callum Davidson, who knocked Rangers out of the 2021 Scottish Cup on his way to winning it with St Johnstone, may have been suspended but he masterminded another famous victory from the stands as Seb Drozd's brilliantly taken goal secured a 1-0 win for the visitors.
Rangers thought they had snatched a leveller right at the death as Cyriel Dessers won a 95th minute penalty but Queen's stopper Callum Ferrie made a stunning save to keep out James Tavernier's spot-kick as the Spiders held on to record one of the biggest shocks in the history of the Scottish Cup.
