A 23-player squad has been named for this year’s Pinatar Cup where the Scotland Women’s National Team will play their first fixtures of the year.

The group will depart for Spain later this month for a warm weather training camp based near Murcia.

Jane Ross returns to the squad after a lengthy absence due to a knee injury. The striker already has 146 caps to her name and has made a blistering return to the game, scoring 11 goals in 8 games for Rangers.

Chelsea Cornet, Leah Eddie and Hayley Lauder also return whilst Amy Gallacher, Abi Harrison, Kirsty Maclean, Emma Mukandi and Rachel McLauchlan drop out.

Pedro Martinez Losa’s side will kick off their 2024 fixture calendar against the Philippines on Saturday, 24 February. The winner of that game will face either Slovenia or Finland, with the losing teams battling it out for third spot in the second of two fixtures on Tuesday, 27 February.
