Glasgow City were drawn at home to Celtic as the draw for the Fourth Round of the Scottish Gas Women's Scottish Cup took place on Monday evening.

The draw took place at Hampden Park, with five-time Scottish Cup winner Laura Houston joining host Amy Irons.

Eight-time champions City last won the cup in 2019, while Celtic were victorious in both 2022 and 2023.

Holders Rangers were drawn against fellow SWPL1 side Montrose, while last year's beaten finalists Hearts travel to Championship outfit Falkirk.

Elgin City, the lowest ranked side in the competition, will face SWPL2 side St Johnstone away from home.

The sole remaining Championship side, Bonnyrigg Rose, were drawn away to Motherwell.

There will be one all-SWPL1 tie, as Aberdeen host Hamilton Academical.

The full draw is listed below, with the ties to be completed on the weekend of Sunday, 2 February.

Speaking after the draw, Houston said: "It's more nerve-wracking doing that than it is playing! Glasgow City up against Celtic is the stand-out tie. That's a best one this early in the competition.

"Also Dundee United up against Boroughmuir Thistle is an interesting one for me because I know United manager Suzy Shepherd well and she used to be Boroughmuir manager so that's one to look out for.

"I always loved the Scottish Cup. It's always the biggest one because you've got so many teams from the lower divisions who always want to put the top teams out.

"Of the five I won, the Glasgow City victory stands out because we beat them 5-1 in 2007. At the time we were competing against them regularly so that made it more sweet.

"Also beating Rangers in 2010 was brilliant from a personal point of view because I scored in the final.

"As a proud Hibs supporter this cup also means so much to me because of what happened in 2016 when the men won the Scottish Cup. It was an amazing day and an amazing memory. I'd watched Hibs have some good runs before but they'd never got over the line until that day against Rangers."
