Scottish Gas Women's Scottish Cup Quarter-Finals are set to take place on Sunday, determining which four sides will get to run out at Hampden Park next month in the Semi-Finals.

Last year's beaten finalists Rangers are in action in one of the day's early kick offs as they travel east, to Meadowbank Stadium, to take on Hibernian.

Under new manager Jo Potter, Rangers are enjoying a strong season - top of the SWPL1 going into the split and preparing to face Partick Thistle in the League Cup Final. They have also fired in an incredible 21 goals in their two Scottish Cup matches so far in 2023/24, making them the competitions' top scorers.

But Hibs have also made strides this season, already matching their SWPL1 points tally for last season with 10 games still remaining, and they produced the shock of the previous round in defeating Glasgow City on penalties at Petershill Park.

Two other sides who have been strong in 2023/24 are Partick Thistle and Hearts, who face off at Petershill Park on Sunday lunchtime. Brian Graham's Jags have achieved a top six finish in SPWL1 for the second consecutive season and they have also reached the League Cup Final after upsetting Hibs in the Semi-Final. They saw off a spirited Queen's Park in the last 16.

Eva Olid's Hearts are on course to back up the fourth place finish in SPWL1 they secured last year. They have also been free-scoring in this competition, with 19 goals in two games.

Also in action on Sunday lunchtime are Livingston and Spartans, with both teams aiming to play at the National Stadium for the first time.

Livingston currently sit third in SPWL2, with Spartans down in 9th place in SPWL1 going into the split.

Spartans enjoyed an impressive win over Aberdeen in the last round, as Livi overcame Gartcairn on penalties.

The final game of the day sees holders Celtic head to Link's Park to take on Montrose. Elena Sadiku took over from Scottish Cup-winning head coach Fran Alonso earlier this year. Her side sit second in SWPL1 and - after losing the League Cup Semi-Final to Rangers - the Hoops know the Scottish Cup may be their best chance of silverware this season.

They take on a Montrose side who were promoted to the top flight last season. Montrose have not found it easy in SPWL1 but they currently sit three points clear of bottom spot and they have found solace in this competition, winning 7-0 over Stenhousemuir and 5-0 over Stirling University in their two games so far.
